About Us
Quiet Hands, Open Hearts
Pueblo Art Studio began as a small corner where clay could meet quiet hands, and minds could find rest. Over time, it grew into a place where adults and children alike come to rediscover the joy of creating, shaping, and finding calm through art.
Here, art is not about the outcome but about the experience — the rhythm of touch, color, and form that brings balance to both maker and material. Our sessions in clay, watercolor, and fiber craft are gentle, guided, and deeply human. We offer curated individual sessions, parent-and-child programs, and onsite workshops for schools or small companies.
Opening an online shop is a way to make our materials and workshops more accessible to friends in the South and beyond.
We do not have a kiln, and we do not fire our clay pieces — our work is rooted in the process itself, not in permanence. The forming, reshaping, and letting go are part of the art.
Each purchase helps sustain the studio — keeping our workshops running, maintaining the space, and continuing our work in the healing and educational arts. Thank you for being part of this small but growing circle of care and creativity.
About the Artist
Khyn Yap is the founder of Pueblo Art Studio, a Waldorf class teacher, Nurse, and Curative educator. He believes art can be a gentle practice of care — that each piece made holds something unseen, shaped by patience and presence. Ken’s work is rooted in creating spaces where making becomes a path to rest, connection, and well-being.
